DOGS' TALES OF RAGS TO BRAGS WHO CARES WHEN YOU BREATHE THROUGH YOUR GILLS? Before the birth of Cob Kennels in 1995, Coh took in unwanted dogs in its care. Two of which went down to the Philippine show ring circuit history as famous success stories. Dearly departed, they await us but will forever be remembered with all their glory. After successfully showing Toy dogs in the 70's and a Lainee Shih Tzu, PHIL CH BAILIFF LAINE OF KENNAQUHAIR going ALL BREEDS BEST IN SHOW at a Veterinary Association Fun Match, Coh quit the show ring circuit. She went into the working breeds in the mid-80's and just watched dog shows when she had free time. She went back in the ring in the early 90's showing a Rottweiler but their family business took much of her time to fully devote it to showing dogs. In 1994, frustrated with the artists and musicians she was managing at the time, she decided to focus her attention to dogs once again. With a stable business and ample money to spare, she bought dogs unknowingly that a lot of things have changed in the course of more than a decade in dogdom. She attended dog shows with a Chow Chow on one hand and a Labrador Retriever on the other; went inside the ring with professional handlers wearing neck ties while she, was merely in jeans and t-shirt and was almost refused by the Ring Steward to enter the show ring. Coh and Rem are lovers of dogs. Be it just the wandering dog or the shimmering, glittering show dog. Both just love dogs! Before the Cob Kennels evolved to be one of the most popular show kennel that it is today, Coh just took on retired dogs and unwanted pets and provided them the basic necessities. The greatest challenge was to take on a dog nobody wants and surprise everybody with its comeback or ring debut. One of the more popular success story was that of "CONAN", the English Bulldog and "SLY", the Basset Hound. Of course, there's more like "BERLIN", the Golden Retriever and "UZI", the Belgian Sheepdog.
